Installation Steps
Download the Installer
Download Manifest-Viewer-Setup.exe from the JBVG website. Save it to a location you can easily find, such as your Desktop or Downloads folder.
Your browser may flag the download as unverified. This is expected behavior for software distributed outside of the Microsoft Store. Select Keep or Keep anyway to proceed with the download.
Run the Installer
Double-click Manifest-Viewer-Setup.exe to begin installation. Windows will display a SmartScreen security prompt on first launch.
Bypass the SmartScreen Prompt
When the Windows SmartScreen dialog appears:
1. Click More info — this reveals additional options beneath the warning message.
2. Click Run anyway — installation will proceed normally.
SmartScreen prompts appear when software has not yet accumulated enough download history with Microsoft's reputation system. This is common for institutional software with a controlled distribution model and is not an indication of any issue with the Viewer itself.
Complete Installation
Follow the standard installer prompts. Installation is quick and requires no configuration. The Manifest Viewer will be added to your Start Menu and optionally your Desktop upon completion.
Open a .sky Document
Launch the Manifest Viewer and open your active .sky document when prompted. The Viewer is backend-independent — no internet connection is required once the file is loaded.
Installation complete. The Manifest Viewer will retain your settings between sessions. Contact your JBVG representative at ida@jbventuresgroupinc.com if you encounter any issues opening your document.

Why does Windows warn me about this software?
Windows SmartScreen assigns trust based on download volume history. The Manifest Viewer is distributed through a controlled, institutional channel rather than a public app marketplace, which means it has not accumulated the download count Microsoft uses to auto-approve software. This is expected and does not reflect any issue with the application's integrity.
Is the Manifest Viewer safe to install?
Yes. The Manifest Viewer is a signed application built and distributed exclusively by J.B. VENTURES GROUP, INC. It operates entirely offline — it makes no external network connections and writes no data outside of your local document session.
What is a .sky document?
A .sky file is an AES-GCM-256 encrypted intelligence payload produced by the SkyWrite Engine. It contains your complete IDA Assessment Report as a self-contained, rerunnable native codebase. The Manifest Viewer is the authorized application for opening and reviewing .sky documents.
Do I need an internet connection to use the Viewer?
No. The Manifest Viewer is fully backend-independent. Once your .sky document is loaded, all rendering and logic execution happens locally on your machine. No data is transmitted externally.
